What is Giclee Print or Archival Print?

A giclee is a reproduction (copy) of an original work of art.

What is Archival Print?

Archival prints are museum-quality pieces that use refined particles of pigment to create beautiful, high-resolution finished artwork. As its name suggests, this method of printing creates artwork that is designed to last for a long time.

Giclees are typically paper art prints or canvas prints that have been printed using an inkjet printer. But it’s important to note that not all inkjet prints are giclee prints.

All artworks of Insight Arts are Archival prints. Archival printing, also known as Giclée printing, is the most sophisticated way to preserve quality art.

This type of printing has high accuracy in colour reproduction, since it uses 10 (pigment based) inks instead of the usual 4 (dye based) inks used in regular printing.

These are printed on 100% acid free, museum grade, archival quality materials.

Giclee printing can be done on Archival paper and Canvas.

Canvas prints, also known as canvas art, are an excellent addition to any home or workspace.
